Your News, Book Reviews, and SciFi Books

Your News

Your News, Book Reviews, and SciFi Books as curated by me, Andy Zach. I read through the whole internet (well, most of it) in the past month. Let’s get started!

This is actually in the science category, military science:

Paranormal Privateers is here:

Since I told you about my audiobook, one of my six, I should tell you you can get it free right here. Click to join my newsletter. I also give away free short stories and one of my ebooks.

But enough of that. Let’s move on to my first review.

Your News
My review on Goodreads

One of the original military SciFi series, with some of the original supertanks, run by intelligent, aware AI. Mr. Laumer does a great job of portraying the personalities of these AIs, telling their stories from their point of view.

This collection of novellas is a must read for military scifi fans.

Your News – Real News Here

I’m a science fiction author, so I like science news. Here’s one:

Which thing seems coolest to you? Highways that charge electric vehicles? Or black holes? Or a 5K running robot? Let me know and I’ll give you a free book! Tell me here.

I’ve got more science for you here, my friends:

Your Books – A Book Excerpt for You and another Review

Yup. It’s Zombie Turkeys excerpt. You can get a free copy here.

You’ll enjoy this book if you like adventure science fiction.

Authors Eric Flint and Ryk E. Spoor have added another fine adventure to their space castaway series. This time it is another space life ship from the same disaster. Led by the powerful Campbell, a severely injured woman and four young men escape the shipwreck to an unknown, undocumented planet they name Emerald.

The young crew has to rebuild the power coil of the ship and they barely get them to the planet. But that’s the least of their worries.

The planet is full of huge predators and they cannot relax for a moment. Then they get a call over their radio, “Hey, is anyone out there?”

Hard science and adventure-loving readers will get plenty of both before this tale ends.

Best Science Stories This Month for You

Best Science Stories This Month! Let’s start off with a bang!

Be sure you watch the whole video to the end!

Seeing commercial spaceflight take off like this is thrilling. I find it humorous and ironic the SpaceX rocket looks just like the rockets I saw in 1950s science fiction I read as a boy.

Lots! First of all, you’ve got this:

Would you play this at your wedding?

This is from TwosetViolin, one of my favorite Youtube channels. I also have an Andy Zach channel, for your viewing pleasure.

But that’s not all! I finished another short story, Her Majesty’s Corgi’s. It’s based on a little incident in My Undead Mother-in-law. You can read it for free on Kindle Unlimited. The short story will appear in my next book, Oops! Tales from the Turkey Apocalypse.

Then there’s this bitter argument between two lynxes.

Do you ever argue with your significant lynx?

But perhaps you prefer more chicken music?

Pachelbel’s Chicken

I don’t comment on politics, but I found this next video commenting on the United Kingdom and the European Union hilarious in light of the Brexit controversy.

US citizens who don’t know about or care about Brexit can just skip this one.

No Laughter Break for News

I found this video of a car-sized meteor hitting near Adelaide Australia. If you’ve never seen a large meteor before, check out the video.

Here is a science fact you may not know about human language.

The Bermudas and the US suffered from Hurricane Dorian this week. For a science fiction author like myself, I love the view of this terrible storm from space.

In addition to my Andy Zach Facebook page, I have a Zombie Turkey page where I post turkey related items, like this next one.

Did you know my book My Undead Mother-in-law has corgis in it?
