What’s the Free Short Story Giveaway About?

Solomon and the phoenix from the 14th century

The story is about how I got my pet phoenix! I mention my pets in my biography here.

How Did You Get a Pet Phoenix?

First, I researched where phoenixes originated. They came from Saudi Arabia and migrated to Egypt.  They were so extraordinary, the legend of the phoenix carried into Europe and Asia.

Once I got to Saudi Arabia, I had adventures until I got a phoenix.  You’ll have to read the short story to find out all about it.

Another Arabian Phoenix

I Want A Phoenix! Will You Sell Yours, Andy?

Phoenixes are highly intelligent birds. I would no more sell one than a person or any member of my family.  You’ll have to go to Saudi Arabia and get one yourself. But you should read the short story “A Phoenix Tale” first. They’re very hard to catch even with the proper knowledge.

Finally, to those going phoenix hunting in Saudi Arabia, let me close by saying:  “Good luck!  You’ll need it!”
