This book is pure, unapologetic fun. Andy Zach’s imagination runs delightfully wild, delivering one outrageous idea after another—from zombie turkeys and genetically engineered chaos to hilariously absurd sci-fi twists involving aliens and time-spanning media. Each story is clever, unexpected, and laugh-out-loud funny. If you enjoy absurd humor, creative insanity, and stories that don’t take themselves too seriously, this is a fantastic read. Laughter truly is good for the soul—and this book delivers plenty of it.

Zombie Turkeys is ridiculous in the best possible way.
The premise alone undead turkeys that come back stronger every time you kill them had me hooked, but the execution is what really works. Following a struggling reporter and his no-nonsense editor through a collapsing country gives the chaos structure, and the satire of modern media hits harder than expected.
The pacing is fast, the gore is gleefully over the top, and the humor never forgets it’s supposed to be fun. Grocery stores, farms, militias, livestreams each stop somehow escalates the madness without wearing out the joke.
If you like horror-comedy with B-movie energy, sharp commentary, and zero interest in playing it safe, this one delivers. I laughed, winced, and kept turning pages.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with a story about a zombie mother-in-law, but here I am, laughing, gasping, and actually tearing up a little. Diane Newby is wild, hilarious, and oddly relatable. Between her rage bursts and her pot roast dinners, I couldn’t decide whether to run or hug her. The book is chaotic in the best way, funny, heartfelt, and surprisingly human. It made me laugh out loud and think about what it really means to be “normal. Absolutely worth the read.

A fresh and inspiring twist on the superhero story! I loved how Jeremy, Dan, Kayla, and Aubrey turn what the world sees as weakness into incredible strength. Their friendship, humor, and determination make them unforgettable, and the way the story balances action with real-life challenges is both exciting and heartwarming. It started with turkeys, but now it has spread into other animals and maybe even humans. It will take a reporter turned detective to figure it all out and hopefully help put the zombie genie back in the bottle.
